Work orders and shop invoices included
See what each truck and trailer costs to maintain, on a page you can read in the office or download as a CSV or a PDF for the owner’s desk.
When an outside-shop invoice is linked to a work order, the report shows that overlap on its own line, so an invoice keyed in twice is easy to spot instead of quietly inflating the total.
Record an invoice from an outside shop against the vehicle it was for. AI reads the scanned invoice, and then someone approves it.
Every work order carries its own parts and labour totals, built from the parts on the job and the time each mechanic logged at their hourly rate.
Mechanics do not see costs on work orders. They see the job; the totals stay with the office.
Download a mechanic’s history as a CSV when you review the year, set rates or plan how many people the shop needs.
Most fleets pay for maintenance two ways. Some work is done in your own shop by your own mechanics, and some is done by a dealer or a roadside shop when a truck breaks down three provinces or four states from home. If those live in different places, nobody knows what a unit really cost.
In RigMD both land against the vehicle. Work orders bring their parts and labour totals, and outside-shop invoices are recorded against the same unit, read by an AI scan of the receipt and then approved. The cost per vehicle report adds both kinds of work together, so TR-208 gets one figure for its maintenance, and any invoice linked to a work order shows up separately so you can check it.
The cost report is a page in RigMD, a CSV for your own spreadsheets and a PDF you can print. When the question is whether to keep T-114 another year or trade it, you can start from what it actually cost to maintain rather than from memory.
On Premium, each tire also gets its own cost per mile, which helps when the question is which brand or which retreader to use next. Mechanic history also downloads as a CSV, for the review at the end of the year.
