Trucks and trailers
Every truck and every trailer has its own record, so the paperwork for trailer TR-208 never ends up filed under the tractor that pulled it last.

Renewal alert: annual inspection
Every truck and every trailer has its own record, so the paperwork for trailer TR-208 never ends up filed under the tractor that pulled it last.
Each truck carries one current odometer reading. It updates from a connected ELD, by hand when needed, and on Pro whenever a work order closes.
Each vehicle keeps its own service history, and you can export it to Excel when an auditor, an insurer or a buyer asks for it.
Registration, cab card, insurance, permits and inspection reports sit in each vehicle’s document hub, with expiry dates on the documents that have one.
Download a unit’s documents as one ZIP file or print them all at once. Archive old versions and restore them if you need them back.
Daily alerts cover vehicle registration, IRP cab cards, insurance, permits and periodic inspections such as CVIP or the US annual inspection.
US carriers must keep inspection, repair and maintenance records for each vehicle for one year where it is housed or maintained, and for six months after it leaves their control (49 CFR 396.3). Canadian provinces set their own maintenance record rules based on National Safety Code Standard 11. Either way, the request tends to arrive with a deadline attached.
In RigMD, the service history for T-114 is one export to Excel, and its registration, cab card and insurance are one ZIP download or one print run. When you sell a unit, the next owner gets a complete history instead of a box of receipts, and when an insurer asks about a claim, you are not searching three filing cabinets.
Expired paperwork tends to surface at the worst moment: at a scale, at the border or at a roadside inspection. RigMD checks every day and sends renewal alerts for vehicle registration, IRP cab cards, insurance, permits and periodic CVIP or annual inspections, so renewals stop depending on someone remembering a date.
When the new registration arrives, upload it, archive the old one, and the file is current again. The same odometer reading that sits on the record also feeds the truck’s PM schedules, so the office and the shop work from one number. To see what each plan includes, visit pricing.
How it works
Add each truck and trailer so every unit has its own record and document hub.
Add registrations, cab cards, insurance and permits to each vehicle, with their expiry dates.
Connect a Motive, Samsara or Radical ELD account, or enter each truck’s reading by hand.
Renew what the daily alerts flag, archive the old copy, and export history whenever someone asks.
